Fertility Programs
Low-complexity fertility programs
Low-complexity fertility programs are designed to assist couples experiencing difficulty conceiving but who do not require advanced or invasive treatments. These programs typically include cycle monitoring, ovulation induction using oral or injectable medications, and intrauterine insemination (IUI).
The approach is generally less invasive and more accessible, focusing on improving the chances of conception through simple and controlled techniques. Furthermore, these programs may offer guidance on lifestyle and health factors that can affect fertility, providing a comprehensive and personalized approach for each couple.
1. Directed Relationships Without Medication
Timed intercourse, also known as RSD or timed intercourse, is an assisted reproductive technology in which the couple has sexual intercourse under gynecological supervision. This process aims to synchronize the most fertile period of the cycle, when the egg matures and is released, with sexual activity to facilitate natural conception.
In this approach, the woman does not receive hormonal treatments; instead, her ovarian cycle is allowed to progress naturally. Follicular growth is monitored through ultrasound scans.
2. Directed Relationships with Low Medication.
Timed intercourse, also known as timed intercourse or timed sex, is an assisted reproductive technology in which the couple has sexual intercourse under gynecological supervision. This process aims to synchronize the most fertile period of the cycle, when the egg matures and is released, with sexual activity to facilitate natural conception.
It is an intermediate process between the natural cycle and ovarian stimulation: the natural cycle with ovulation induction. In this approach, the natural development of the egg is monitored, and when the egg has reached maturity, the medication hCG is administered. This hormone induces ovulation by mimicking the natural luteinizing hormone (LH) surge.
3. Timed Intercourse with Ovarian Stimulation and HCG
Timed intercourse, also known as timed intercourse or timed sex, is an assisted reproductive technology in which the couple engages in sexual intercourse under gynecological supervision. This process aims to synchronize the most fertile period of the menstrual cycle, when the egg matures and is released, with sexual activity to facilitate natural conception.
Ovarian stimulation is the process of using the natural cycle to induce ovulation. In this approach, the ovaries are stimulated to promote egg growth and maturation. This monitoring is carried out through ultrasound scans and blood tests.
4. Artificial insemination with own sperm
Artificial insemination involves depositing a processed semen sample into the uterus. The woman’s ovulation is monitored via ultrasound to align it with the insemination, thus increasing the chances of success.
5. Artificial Insemination with Donor Sperm
Artificial insemination with donor sperm, also known as intrauterine insemination with donor sperm (IUI-D), is a medical procedure in which sperm from an anonymous donor, previously selected and processed, is introduced into a woman’s uterus during her ovulation period. The main objective of this technique is to facilitate conception and achieve pregnancy.
High Complexity Fertility Programs
High-complexity fertility programs are designed for couples facing significant challenges conceiving and requiring advanced treatments. One example is the ROPA method (Reception of Oocytes from Partner), which allows same-sex female couples to share the experience of motherhood. In this procedure, one woman provides the eggs, which are fertilized with donor sperm, and the resulting embryos are transferred to the other woman’s uterus.
On the other hand, in vitro fertilization (IVF) involves fertilizing eggs in a laboratory, followed by the transfer of the resulting embryos to the woman’s uterus. This method is indicated in cases of infertility due to various reasons, such as ovulation problems, blocked fallopian tubes, or unexplained infertility. Both approaches are highly personalized and require ongoing medical monitoring to maximize the chances of success.
2. IVF - In vitro fertilization ICSI
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a highly complex assisted reproductive technology designed to help heterosexual couples. It involves extracting eggs from a woman’s ovaries through follicular aspiration and then fertilizing them in the laboratory with her partner’s sperm.
3. IVF - In vitro fertilization ICSI + egg donation
In vitro fertilization (IVF) with egg donation is an assisted reproductive technology that allows a recipient woman to achieve pregnancy using eggs from an anonymous donor. Also known as egg donation, it is indicated for women who cannot conceive using their own eggs, whether due to advanced maternal age, genetic disorders, or any other problem related to their gametes.
4. In vitro fertilization (IVF) ICSI with sperm donor.
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is performed using the eggs and sperm of the intended parents whenever possible. However, when there is no male partner or severe fertility problems, it may be necessary to use donor sperm for IVF.
This assisted reproductive technology involves combining eggs retrieved from the intended mother with sperm from a sperm donor, who has chosen to donate their gametes.
5. In vitro fertilization (IVF) ICSI + Embryo Donation
In vitro fertilization (IVF) with double gamete donation is an assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatment in which sperm from an anonymous donor is used to fertilize eggs from an anonymous egg donor, and the resulting embryos are transferred to a recipient woman.
IVF with egg and sperm donation is used in cases where patients cannot provide their own gametes due to various fertility issues.
Cryopreservation of Sperm, Eggs and Embryos
Cryopreservation is a technique used to store reproductive cells and embryos at very low temperatures, allowing their viability to be maintained for extended periods. This process is essential in the field of assisted reproduction and offers several advantages. Cryopreservation provides a flexible and effective solution for family planning and infertility treatment, enabling individuals and couples to make informed decisions about their reproductive health.
Sperm Cryopreservation: This procedure involves collecting and freezing sperm, which can be used in fertility treatments such as artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization (IVF). The sperm is frozen in a specialized medium that protects the cells during the freezing and thawing process, preserving their ability to fertilize eggs in the future.
Egg Cryopreservation: In this case, eggs are collected from the woman and frozen for later use. This technique is particularly useful for women who wish to postpone motherhood for personal or medical reasons, such as cancer treatments. The eggs are frozen using a process called vitrification, which minimizes the formation of ice crystals and maximizes survival rates upon thawing.
Embryo Cryopreservation: This procedure involves freezing embryos that have been created through in vitro fertilization (IVF). Cryopreservation of embryos allows couples facing fertility challenges to maintain options for future pregnancy attempts without needing to repeat the ovarian stimulation cycle. Like eggs, embryos are vitrified to preserve their integrity.
Biopsy and Genetic Testing
Non-invasive sample collection for preimplantation genetic testing of embryos
Non-invasive preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) of embryos is an innovative technique that allows for the evaluation of embryos’ genetic viability before transfer to the uterus. This approach involves obtaining cells from the culture medium where the embryos develop, eliminating the need for invasive biopsies.
PGT for aneuploidies analyzes the genetic material of embryos to identify chromosomal abnormalities that can affect development and implantation. By using non-invasive sampling, the risk of damaging embryos is reduced, thus increasing the chances of a successful pregnancy.
This method is particularly beneficial for couples facing fertility problems or with a history of genetic disorders, allowing for the selection of the healthiest embryos for transfer. Ultimately, non-invasive sampling contributes to improved assisted reproductive outcomes, providing couples with a safer and more effective option on their journey to parenthood.
Guaranteed Surrogacy Program
Single Process (1 baby) / Double Process (2 babies)
Our guaranteed surrogacy program is designed to support intended parents in a comprehensive, safe, and transparent manner, from the first interview to the birth of the baby or babies and the completion of the corresponding legal process.
Our guaranteed surrogacy program is designed to provide comprehensive, safe, and transparent support to intended parents, from the initial consultation through the birth of the baby or babies and the completion of the corresponding legal process.
The process begins with a personalized interview with the intended parents, during which their medical history and expectations are reviewed, and all stages of the program are explained in detail. This is followed by a specialized psychological evaluation, as well as the collection of infectious disease tests and the freezing of semen samples in our laboratory under international safety and quality standards.
For cases requiring egg donation, we maintain our own database of donors available for fresh cycles. These donors are carefully selected and evaluated from a medical, infectious disease, and genetic perspective. All donors undergo controlled ovarian stimulation, which is included in the program, and the resulting embryos are studied using preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A) to optimize success rates and reduce chromosomal risks.
Surrogate mothers go through a rigorous selection process that includes
